The top 5%, the next 15%, the middle 65%, and the bottom 10% based on the ance rating. So, I've downloaded the information which includes the employee names and their ance ratings. The output needs to highlight the name and ance rating and provide color coding depending on their standing within the range of ratings. There have already been a lot of answers in the following poll, so I'm not going to create anything new. I'm just going to show you what the answer is by most people. The way we do this is by first selecting a threshold for each range. We need to decide where you stand and what sort of rating you need to be in the top 5%. We can do this by using the percent percentile formula. We set up percentile for the range, which is F6 to F33, representing all the values of ance rating. In this case, for the top 5%, we use one less than the sum of I6 to I6, which is basically 5%. This gives you 95%. So, to qualify for the top 5%, you need to achieve an ance rating of at least four. To be in the top 20%, you need to achieve a rating of at least 3.46. We continue this process for the other ranges, and basically form a table with the thresholds needed.
